PrimeMLS is working toward becoming RESO Compliant. RESO is the Real Estate Standards Organization, an independent body formed to develop data standards and processes that create efficiencies for all participants in real estate transactions, focusing on streamlining data for all.
What does this mean for PrimeMLS?
To achieve this data standardization, certain adjustments are made, including renaming or reorganizing fields, removing fields, or transferring selections within a field to a different one. These changes will impact both the search and listing input/maintenance modules. These modifications are essential for ensuring consistency and compatibility across different systems and platforms.
When will these changes take place?
Round 1 of RESO updates will occur on February 28, 2024. This will be the first in a series of updates and you can expect a notification prior to the future changes taking place.
Reports in Paragon and Paragon Connect will be updated, as well as the listing input forms (located in the MLS Documents section of Paragon) will be updated in accordance with the changes highlighted in each round. Review the below table or this document for the detailed changes.
The below table reflects the updates scheduled for Round 1 on February 28th.
